Summer Updates

This is so that we can share news of what we’re all up to during the summer- jobs, internships, summer boathouse action, other exciting feats of athletic nature, etc.  Let us all know what you’ve been up to!

    I thought I would kick this page off with a post. On Tuesday, I’m moving up to New York for most of the summer to intern at Real Simple magazine for 10 weeks. It’s through a program called ASME, and I’m with around 25 other interns at various magazines. I’m really excited to start on Wednesday and live in the city!

    I also signed up for a 10K in Central Park in mid-July, and a half-marathon in late November, so I’m going to run in the city as much as possible!

    What is everyone else doing?

    I’m at home this summer, doing an MCAT prep class and hopefully volunteering somewhere related to pediatric medicine. I’m also currently coxing out of my home boat club, which is funny, since we got rain almost every day last week, so my river is hovering around flood stage. No one is being allowed to row out of the boathouse right now, which is frustrating since we have our first summer regatta on the 16th. However, safety first!
